Butoh is an avant-garde performance art form which originated in Japan in the 1950’s.
One of the major developments in contemporary dance in the latter half of the 20th century, Butoh combines dance, theater, improvisation
and influences of Japanese traditional performing arts to create a unique art form that is both controversial
and universal in its expression.

This unique training is an invaluable tool for dancers, actors, adult beginners, encouraging participants to open up and expand physically and energetically. This workshop creates a gentle and supportive environment to start an individual and collective process of investigation through creative movement.
Our classes are open level and beginners are welcome.
