KAT MACMILLAN, a performer originally from California has been with the Vangeline Theater since 2003. Her work in Mexico with Diego Pinon led to her meeting her love, Claudio, having a baby and settling down south of the border. Now back in New York she teaches yoga, works in photography and studies the Mayan calendar among other pursuits. Other New York credits include her work with the doomefishe theatercompany in : Luis Buñuel's "Hamlet", "Rosa & nini", "In the sea" to name a few.

STACY LYNN SMITH's quest for creative freedom has involved much physical study and personal exploration. Recently, Stacy discovered Butoh, which for her defies definition, being at once dance, performance art, theater and ritual. She has studied intensively with Minako Seki, Katsura Kan, Tadashi Endo, Ko Murobushi, Mari Osanai, Diego Pinon and Vangeline. As part of Vangeline Theater, she has danced in "Nuit Blanche" and "Screen Test". Stacy looks forward to the company’s upcoming show at The Kitchen.

The Dance: Trance of becoming.
The fact of the dance verifies the soul's lust for otherness. As we wander through the visions of our many facets we but demonstrate our thirst for what lies beyond.
The Answer:
the wind blew across the water. The world woke up.
